Islamic Development Bank 

The Kyrgyz Republic is a member of the Islamic Development Bank (hereinafter - IDB), an international financial organization with its mission to support economic and social development in the Muslim countries.  

The main goal of the IDB is to increase the level of economic and social development in the member countries of the IDB by participating in the financing of projects and programs. 

Currently, the National Bank, with the assistance provided by the IDB, is implementing a project to create a full-fledged Islamic bank in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of promoting Islamic finance.
